Six Globe University-La Crosse students are featured in the 2012 issue of the Creative Quill, Globe University’s literary journal. The journal is published once a year and features student poetry and lyrics, fiction and drama, and creative non-fiction from all 29 campuses.

A special congrats to Devin Carlson, Veterinary Technology graduate, her story “Ghosts” was awarded 2nd place in the best of genre!

Mark your calendars to come and celebrate with the student authors at the Creative Quill 2012 release party where some of the featured writers will be reading their work on October 16th 4-5 p.m. at Globe-La Crosse!

Jodie Liedke, a true Wisconsinite, having spent four summers working in a mozzarella factory, received her BA from Lakeland College and her Masters in Fine Arts from Wichita State University in Kansas. Liedke is the General Education Coordinator, a Creative Quill and Writing Across the Curriculum lead, and the advisor/instructor for GLUWW (Globe La Crosse Writers Write) and the “Campus Chatter.” When not thinking fiction and working on her memoir, Liedke enjoys watching films, exploring the outdoors, and biking.
