HCM Grad Receives National Award

Amy Nelson, Health Care Management grad from the Elk River-Minnesota School of Business, was named to the 2012 Hall of Fame at the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) Annual Convention and Expo in June.

One month before she turned 19, Amy founded Accurate Home Care.  In the 10 years since, Accurate Home Care has grown from 50 to 1,701 full-time and part-time employees. The number of clients went from 20 to 750. And revenue from the end of the first year grew from $2 million to $40 million today.

Health Care Managers across the country can be proud of the accomplishments of young people like Amy.
