Week One of Early Fall Quarter 2012 was definitely a busy one. It the first week of class after a three week break filled with lots of activities. The week started off with suckers and planners being handed out to students in the student lounge Monday and Tuesday. Although if you missed your chance for a student planner, please see the front desk.
Some other activities included Paralegal program chair Renae speaking about our program and externship opportunities at the Second Circuit Bar Association meeting. Wednesday was the kick off for Volunteer Sioux Falls, which the campus will be participating in on September 28th. Thursday marked the last day of classes for the first week.
Although Friday students had the day off from classes, the faculty were busy attending their Academic Leadership Retreat. The retreat involved ways in which to engage students and was followed by some team building activities which included bowling. Just in case you are wondering, we have some amazing bowlers here on campus.
Week two ensures to be packed with more activities and events. The start of Globe Olympics is soon upon us. Stayed tuned for more information about this activity for students and staff.
