The Salvation Army is a tremendous organization in our area, supporting many community members in need. Globe University-La Crosse students, staff, and
faculty are happy to support such a wonderful organization.
GlobeUniversity-La Crosse staff and faculty showed their support of the Salvation Army in many ways during the Fall 2011 quarter. Admissions staff, Brady Lowe, Communications and Community Relations, and Paula Clark, Medical Assistant Student, rang bells to raise funds for Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at Macy’s and Festival Foods.
Staff members from Career Services, Financial Aid, the Front Desk Staff, and Campus Director Stephanie Cline supported the organization’s annual Food Basket Community Support Event. Globe staff packaged and distributed food to local families and gave out gifts and books to children. The 10 Globe University-La Crosse staff volunteers helped donate over 600 baskets of food and gifts for over 2,000 children.
In addition to supporting the Salvation Army with volunteer power, Globe University-La Crosse was happy to provide a $250.00 donation to Salvation Army to raise funds for their Red Kettle Campaign.
Globe University-La Crosse looks forward to continuing to grow the strong relationship with Salvation Army through volunteering, service learning projects, and other support opportunities!
